why wont google chrome work?

google chrome used to work but now it doesnt. i can install but when i open it its just a blank screen and up on the tab bar it has the little loading circle. it wont do anything else it just stays there until i exit out. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling about 3-5 times now and it did the same thing google chrome is not installed on my computer right now and i have a windows xp pro
