why wont flash games work even though Ive downloaded it?

Ive downloaded adobe flash player 10 and installed but when i clicked on a flash game it asked my to choose a program to open it with and the thing ive downloaded isnt there and i cant find it................help!!!
 
it may be affected by some virus.when we installs the flash player virus will affect. if we have the flash also it will open as blank(white space). u can also try another way. try open these files through mozilla firefox or ie. it should open.
 
its either an issue with it being installed and corrupt or your browsers security settings are too high - Check your Internet Explorer settings are not preventing it being installed properly. Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Security tab, Internet, make sure “Security level for this zone” is set toMedium.
