Why won't Atlas V14 display Japanese characters?

I was trying to use atlas with agth (text hooker), but it only shows a bunch of gibberish for japanese characters and when i copy to clip board and then to atlas, it all becomes question marks,

I do have east asian language support enabled, and it doesn't do that on babylon, PLEASE HELP ;p
