why with smartbro i have 4g signal, but if i put the sim in my 3g/4g samsung galaxy i only have edge?

It goes 3g or 4g with globe but not with that sim or other 3g smart sims.
I tried to look for the network but if my mobile is in wcdma only mode it does not find anything...
Is the smartbro usb using a network aside from mobiles one?
