This has happened on several occasions when someone wakes me up I am not fully awake and for a minute or so i say weird things or act weird. Then i snap out of it and can't remember any of it.

The most recent one was pretty strange.
My mother told me about it later in the day.

I hadn't gotten up for school yet so my mom came in a woke me up. (i usually stay in bed and watch tv for 15 minutes or so b4 i get up) But instantly i shot out of bed and grabbed a lacrosse ball off my floor (mind you that lacrosse balls are very heavy and hard) I then tossed it up and down in my hand and stared at my mother blankly, as if i was going to throw it at her. My mom kept talking to me until all of a sudden i snapped out of it and got back in bed.

Note: My mom told me about this and i remember none of it. Things like this are not unusual for me.

-Im a 15 year old male

-Should i be worried at all, what if i do something violent?

-thx

You probably won't do anything violent. Sounds like your body starts to respond on automatic before your mind kicks into gear.

When I got into teen years, my mother used to get annoyed at me because I regularly "forgot" what she had told me. After a while she realised that the things I "forgot" were things she told me before she left for work (7am start at an old people's home helping them get up) and I was responding as though I was awake but not hearing a word with my mind. You'll probably grow out of it again.

And it's always possible that you were dreaming you were the pitcher on a baseball team and she was either the batter or your catcher at home base. ;-)

Wow. Um, yeah I say wierd things to my mom when i'm not fully awake, too. But gosh, a lacrosse ball??? Maybe you should see a doc. Sounds like..like sleepwalking.
