Why when I go to see my facebook profile picture does it say 'there are no photos to...

...display'? When anybody tries to view my profile picture on facebook it shows the following message: 'there are no photo's to display' - Also i'm only shown certain notifications not all of them, usually its the most recent one which do not appear. I've been unable to find the answer on facebook, but i'm aware its a common problem, so hopefully somebody can help! x
