A. Muslims kept records, while Europe descended into chaos.
B. Muslims dominated Greece after the fall of Rome.
C. Europeans were more interested in preserving Roman records.
D. Europeans were too wealthy to worry about ancient texts.

A, but it's a shallow question and badly worded answer. The Roman empire lost its head and got invaded, but most of Europe was no more or less chaotic for that. Not all Muslims kept records, but the courts of the caliphate and its spinoffs and regional nobility took an interest in the natural world and in ancient learning, and preserved the Greek texts not because they were Muslims but because they (the tiny ruling class of the caliphate) had wealth and leisure time and curiosity.
