still be a middle east problem? Everyone including Jimmy Carter says there needs to be a 2 state solution for the Israel Palestinian conflict. But there could have been 2 states back in 1948 when the UN had the 2 state plan. Israel accepted the plan but the Arabs rejected it. And then soon after Israel was created 5 Arab armies attacked Israel. And now 60 years later everyone says there should be a 2 separate states.
