Why wasn't Marwa Sherbini talked about on the media as much as she should have done?

I asked people, like friends..just typical British people. And they said they only heard very very little about the story and they even forgot where they heard it! and they were suprised that it wasn't really shown much on television or radio as much. Until i told them that i'd noticed many people debating and having an argument as to why the full story was not shown? thoughts please?
Ello Guv, she was stabbed 18 times by a racist. If you usually get news like that in Germany....Then it's sure one bloody country...
