why was wind energy invented?

The wind has always carried energy. It was energy from the wind that powered the first ships traveling across the seas and oceans of this world. And wind powered the windmills to grind harvested grain and pump water out of a well. Mankind is continually trying to find out how to use the energy in the wind to his advantage.

2. Stop using fossil fuels
