why was the 2005 Suzuki Verona discontinued?

I received a letter from a Suzuki Dealer saying my car is on the Hot List and they are trying to locate 17 Pre-Owned Suzuki Verona's and will offer over the market value allowances for these specific trades. And as a further incentive they will take thousands off each vehicle and sacrifice the profit margin on over 250 new and used vehicles. So I figure this must be a Hot car.
