Why was Roker in GA instead of MO. on Today Show?

GA. had very minimal damage with maybe three deaths.MO. had multiple county damage with 22 deaths.I find it pretty weak of Al Roker to be live in GA. showing the same houses damage! If he would of flown to Joplin,Mo. he could of shown several different counties of damage not 30 min.in each direction.So Why was al Roker in GA.?Can the Today Show not afford it?
 
I agree with the answer above, adding that damage in one county in middle Georgia has already exceeded $75 million dollars. 1 COUNTY!
 
I find you're pretty weak. You don't know what happened in Georgia. You're not here. Bibb County Georgia was totally devastated. The entire county where 6 tornados went thru. The reason they show the same houses over and over is because most areas are still unaccessable due to downed trees, houses, utility poles and the like blocking most of the streets. There are still people in houses trapped. You wouldn't know mininmal damage from major damage obviously. I know what's going on over there as I have crews working cleaning trees up as requested by fema. The damage here extend from Talbotton Ga. to Jesup Ga. and from Talbotton Ga to east Dublin Ga lines totaling about 400 miles. Check map quest for mileage verification.
