great thing? Being a virgin is not a great thing after a certain, in fact, it can become an extremely negative and destructive thing after a certain age.
There's nothing wrong with being a virgin by age 15 or 16 but once teenagers turn 17 or 18 or 19 the it's time to start having sex.
For those who argue that stupid Christian ideal of no sex until marriage, marriage during bibical times happened at VERY YOUNG AGES and the man was guaranteed a wife and the woman to be married to him didn't have a say, so since males got sex a lot quicker and younger back then in biblical times, you might say they had more sexual freedom and abundant sex lives than people do now.
Repressing sexuality actually does more harm than good, especially with males. Men in general, at least these days, it seems they're not having as much sex as they should be having.
Virginity is overrated and should not be put on a pedestal.
To say you're still a virgin at 17 has SOME merit to it because it means you're horny but you manager to go several years now without having it, but to go much longer than that becomes unhealthy.
Sex should be experienced no later than age 22.
If you're 23 and still a virgin, then that's just sad.
Why? Because the older you get, the more your sexual capabilites can decline.
If your sexual peak happens at age 21, then surely after 2 years pass, you can't do it exactly the same way you could have at age 21 under the same circumstances.
Imagine a 30 year old virgin now finally doing it. 23 is already getting sad but age 30 would really be getting sad. Someone at 30 years old could not do it the same way they could've done it at age 21 is 21 was their sexual peak, that's a full 9 years later as opposed to just 2 years later at 23, do the math.
Virginity becomes a bad thing and should not be continued with once you reach age 23. The early 20s should defintiely be when everyone starts to do it.
Priding yourself on being a virgin by age 20 is like bragging you went a day without eating.
Priding yourself on being a virgin by age 30 is like bragging you almost starved yourself to death by fasting for several days straight.
