I sprained my ankle and have pretty bad shin splints that I'm currently trying to fix. I use the R.I.C.E method frequently for both injuries (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) but I've also been applying Bengay and Tigerbalm during days of severe soreness. However, the instructions for both give a very clear direction NOT to wrap or bandage after applying the product. However, my ankle and shins are so sore sometimes I feel like I really need that extra support...
So why shouldn't you do it?
