Yes, I realize it is more health insurance reform, but what difference does that make as long as we all have access to health care.
Yes I realize my premiums may go up, but isn't that worth it to know that it will be there when I need and there are no loopholes that allow them to drop me should I become too expensive.
Yes, I realize it is expensive, but the COB (a non partisan committee) has stated it will save $200 billion in the first 10 years and over 1 trillion in the second.
Yes, I know the republicans dispute these figures but when I research their complaints they all come up as fabrications. the Doc fix is not part of the health care plan, the COB did not double count figures etc.
No, I do not want socialized medicine, but as neither the doctors, the hospitals or the insurance plans are government run under this plan I see no connection. there is not public option.
Yes, I realize health care access can be poor under socialized medicine such as England and Canada, but this plan does not resemble theirs in the least.
I just don't get it. Why are the republicans fighting so hard against something that one of their own put together in Michigan?
Why are republicans still claiming death panels just because democrats want to allow medicare to reimburse a doctor for the time he spends with a patient discussing their end of life plans. The government pays for heart transplants, open heart surgery, but they consider this a death panel? Look what that nut bag did in Arizona, she is letting people die to save $5 million a year and spends $50 million on prisons.
How can we not afford something that saves money. Your logic just isn't there.
What sucks, everyone having health insurance. Being able to retire early or go into business for yourself and not having to worry about not being able to afford health insurance. What exactly sucks?
