People are capable of pursuing sexual satisfaction in various ways; they may also either do harm or provoke smiles, just as they could share their secrets or hold them.

Possibility does not entail necessity.

With that said, I must tell you upfront that I do not support the religious or akin thesis in this regard. However, I do so for a different reason... a much more complex one.
