why should indian history need to rewrite?

some peoples are asking there are need to be re wight the indian history. concerning some issues like "who made the taj" etc. plz tell me some reason if it is any issue
 
if i were indian i'd totally make the story of the american settlement something like 300.

in my mind it goes something like braveheart/300 where some tribe leader is like "THEY CAN TAKE OUR LAND AND OUR WOMEN, BUT OUR RESERVATIONS SHALL LIVE ON FOREVER!"

I'm not really sure if they had reservations back then or what the deal was, but if they did have them i'm sure they'd defend them.

or totally make up stuff like the americans decimated everything because they're evil and had robots and stuff while the indians were still making fire with sticks.

i don't know, if history is in your hands you might as well make it totally sweet.
