I have seen this posted a few times, so I'm here to say in my country its not true, I'm at Edinburgh University doing Engineering and it is by no means liberal, there are loony liberals at my uni but to be honest they are laughed at no one really gives a flying jump about they guy who wants to marry his goat or whether Paul can marry Peter, because most people in Uni have 3 things on their minds (sex, alcohol and course work) My cousin is at Glasgow University doing Sports Science and he says the same thing, University is not extremely liberal. Unless in America and England its different, but America and England are more conservative than Scotland so I can't see that being so.
Why people assume most students in University is extremely liberal?
