I just thought of something, when we stub our toe on the nightstand/bedpost/coffee table it usually hurts....and so my question is, why usually?
I have stubbed my toe several times, I just did it again as I was entering my room and this time I barely felt it. And I dont just mean stubbing your toe, I have broke my nose twice, the first time I felt absolutely nothing even during the time of its healing but the second time I had pretty decent amount of pain.
When I was 12 I split my skull open and had to have 15 staples and 20 stitches to close it up and I still to this day wonder why it is I felt absolutely no pain, that is until they started sticking me with the "numbing" needle
