If Phag had come out and said, I beat Cotto, there’s no reason to fight Shane, fine, let’s leave it at that.
But true to his nature, what do we hear out of Phag’s camp? No fight without a 142 catchweight.
And that wouldn’t be the first time right?
Cotto: No fight without a catchweight.
Mosley: No fight without a catchweight.
Margarito: No fight without a catchweight.
Marquez: No fight without a catchweight.
I’m not even going to start on the fact that Phag now upped that catchweight demand on Marquez from 145 to now a full blown 147 welterweight limit.
Yet the Pactards won’t (can’t) explain why Phag, who JUST weighed in at 144 for Margarito, wants Marquez at 147. And reconcile that with his 142 catchweight demand for Mosley.
Pactards can’t do it, which is why they whine, cry, and throw their tampons instead. They’ll berate Mayweather, but this criticism has NOTHING do with Floyd. It’s a legitimate criticism that not a single Pactard wants to to answer.
