I feel like this is just one more way our free speech is being suppressed. People are rapidly discovering just how spun and controlled mainstream media is, and are using internet forums and news website comments sections to get the info out the people that "they" won't.
The mainstream news is losing it's grip and influence on us (FINALLY!) and so they are trying to regulate communication on the net. http://www.prisonplanet.com/googles-plans-to-take-over-the-internet-exposed.html
This is scary stuff, people! I have personally experienced censorship through Black Press (Western Canadian mainstream media corporation). I believe they censored my tweets off their community newspaper homepages (they show tweets mentioning the community, ie, #nanaimo), just because I talked about chemtrails (stratospheric aerosol geoengineering) . When I tweeted that I could see what they were doing, and that it would make a good article, my tweets started appearing on their sites within 5 mins! Busted!
Seriously, though, we are losing our free speech HERE in Canada. If I told you about the censorship and harassment I've experienced writing online about these issues over this past year, you would probably never believe me!
