I have two dogs a spayed female and a neutered male. They are brother and sister but they were separated for a couple of years and just reunited two months ago. When i am at home with them they are fine, they do not fight or growl or anything, they used to sleep together and eat at the same time. But for the past two days they are fighting when i leave the house. They are kept in the backyard while im absent, each one has its own house and plenty of space to run. I don't know what it is happening and i am very worried since the female dog it has several minor injuries in her face; she is loosing the fights. From now on they are being held in separate rooms but i do not want this to continue. Im not sure which one is the alpha but i think is the male since he is wining all the fights.. Please someone could explain what it is happening or what to do or recommend me what to do.... Thanks!!
Why my two dogs fight when im not with them?
