why my bluetooth doesnt work on ps3!!!?

So i have a plantronics bluetooth headset and i turned it on then connected it to my ps3 it worked fine but then it just turned red and turned off so i figured it was low battery so i charged it for over 2 hours it turned blue letting me know it was done charging and when i try picking it up on my ps3 after it doesnt pick it up anymore?? why doesnt it work?? i even tryed connecting it with my phone and still nothingg!!! helppp
