Every car manufacturer has their problems. Sooner or later they all end up with a problem that needs to be resolved. I will admit that in the past I have worked on fords at about a two to one ratio over any other car. I guess you could call that job security. They keep making them and we just keep fixing them. As long as Ford stays in business, I know that I will never run out of work. You apparently have one of my money makers, sorry you got burned, maybe you will buy a different brand next time.

I have had 3 caprices 91-96. 150-160k miles
Never used oil. Never had bad valve seals. No smokers.
And never intake mani leaks.
I buy 00 crown vic 100k miles ...2 yrs ago.I got bad valve seals, 1 qt of oil every 200 miles burning. Cracked plastic intake mani. A shitload of problems. Coil packs miss firing..

but chevy motors never burn or have seal problems

Well it seems they have recalled the plastic intake from cracking on ford....
