...intervention of this person? A Russian woman of approximately 69years, who is citizen in the U.S... She had Medicaid with lower income and lived alone in a pretty small house in the New York City. She was able to take care of her basic functions, and could go to the refrigerator where she kept a breakfast and lunch laid out for self. However, she is unable to take care herself alone when the day by day passed, because she had bad memory for what she did and what she needs to do. One day, she imagined that she had to visit someone, so she left the house and went to a neighbor's for a ride. Evidently she said some incoherent things, she can't remember where her glasses were and were she had left her handbag (on the table next to her)--and after much opening and closing of the bag, the glasses remained unused. So the neighbor took her to the local hospital thinking that she needed medical help. After this incident, Department of Human Resources became involved and provide home care program and senior house etc. for her.
