A lot of people say it's better to major in Physics than Astronomy, but I'm extremely uninterested in pursuing just a Physics degree. I'm not saying I'm uninterested in physics. In fact, I'm very interested in the subject, but I would like to do more with Astronomy. I just don't want to do pure physics. I want the physics, astronomy, and chemistry workload. I really can't see myself doing anything other than Astronomy.
I'm getting nervous because I've done a lot of googling, and many people say that having an Astronomy degree will get people nowhere. So before you lecture me on getting a Physics degree instead, can anyone tell me what kind of jobs I can get with a B.S. in Astronomy (before grad school)?
P.S. - I'm not switching my major. Please don't bug me about that.
Wow. Huge typo in title.
I can tell it's time for bed.
