Why isn't the world prosecuting the Japanese like it did with the Nazi Germans...

...for WWII war crimes? I just found this fact that
in WW2, the Japanese killed 30 million Filipinos, Malays, Vietnamese, Cambodians, Indonesians, Burmese, and 23 million Chinese and Koreans. Whereas, the Germans killed 6 million Jews and 20 million Russians.

so, why isn't the world prosecuting the Japanese like it did with the Nazi Germans for WWII war crimes?
