They're just sitting empty, dragging down property values and making the neighborhood look bad. Shouldn't the banks at least take care of the place until they can get rid of it?
I mean, the nicer a home looks, the more chance someone is going to buy it. Unless the buyer likes fixer uppers, no one is going to buy a rotted, run down looking house.
