Well, it's not actually mine, it's my mother's, so I don't really know my way around them.
She complained that a dotted line would appear under misspelled words and she'd click the main cursor button which would offer up alternative spelling options. The misspelled words still end up with a dotted line under them now, but when you press that main cursor button now, nothing happens.
The Spell Check settings under Options have all of their arrows ticked. Under 'Custom Dictionary' it states *No phrases* but I presume this isn't the main internal dictionary? The dictionary must still be in there as it still knows which words are incorrectly spelt, it just doesn't offer up alternative spellings like it used to.
The Localisation settings are set to English (United Kingdom) as they have always been so it can't be anything to do with that either.
