Why isn't my operamini working?

I put operamini on my phone and for some reason it says it can't connect to the internet. All of the settings on my phone are correct.If anyone has any suggestions, please help!
 
Lilspun, did you enter wap.voicestream.com in your APN settings? If you did and it's still not working, try a battery pull reset. If that still doesn't work, you may want to uninstall it, do a battery pull, then reinstall it again. One of those should work for you. Let us know how you make out.
 
(in case you do have your APN in there) now I tend to stay away from voodoo like advice, but when I first started I had my APN settings put in and the whole nine, but it still wouldn't work. no amount of battery pulls, etc. worked. I started up OZ messenger and pressed connect and it jump started my phone. I quickly signed off since OZ takes from texts, but after that I never had the problem again.

hopefully it's just you didn't have an APN in there to begin with, but if not.. *shakes my voodoo rattle stick*
 
ummmmm... what's the OZ messenger?? I did put the APN address in, I even called my service provider and they didn't know what to tell me
 
did you get opera mini to work? i use Jive talk and i have the same problem..i uninstalled already and put it back in...still doesnt work. do you tink it is a network problem that everyone might be having?
