why isn't my laptop's built in bluetooth working?

A while ago i had a virus on my computer. I didn't format it, but I installed a new windows vista on it. The wifi wasn't working at first, but after I installed some updates it started working. The bluetooth, however, is not working still; I cant connect any of my bluetooth devices to my laptop.

reinstall the bluetooth driver.

Your computer manufacturer should have a list of drivers for your model in ether the download or the support section of their website.
