Why Isn't My Credit Score 800...Even Though I Have Perfect Credit History?

My credit score came back at 780*
I feel flawed.

Any ideas why?
Last summer my credit card was stolen.
And in the fall I bought a new car, which I paid for in cash.
 
Could be for numerous reasons. High balances, lack of significant credit history, or numerous credit inquiries can all have an effect, even though everything was paid on time. You buying a car for cash has nothing do do with your CREDIT score.
