I own a Sony Bravia KDL 40v2500 that was purchased several years ago. For christmas I got a Sony blu ray home theater thing for my husband (he hooked it up) with a fancy HDMI cable. The picture quality is great but it lacks that crazy depth that I see on the tv's in the stores... where did we go wrong? We talked to a guy at best buy and he said the tv should be fine but it is still lacking that wow factor! Can anyone give me some suggestions here? Again, the picture is great, almost there in fact, just not quite there.
why isn't my blu ray picture as good as the one in the store?
