why isant my beta fish eating his food?

Ah...... I've had that problem before. It isn't because he doesn't like it. Is he new to the environment or have you changed his routine or habitat? If you have, this is the problem. Is his water temp. regular? It should be about 64F-77F. If he doesn't eat it then just put about two pellets in there and give him some space. He'll eventually get hungry and eat it. Do NOT put any more in there. If he has a tank more than 3 gallons then give him a smaller one because as crazy as it sounds, they get nervous if they have too big of a space. If he doesn't puff up at all then put a mirror by his bowl so he can see it. Also, if you haven't thoroughly cleaned his bowl in longer than a month, change it. He also needs a good diet of freeze-dried bloodworms, pellets, and other things like that. MAKE SURE YOU GET FREEZE-DRIED ITEMS THAT SPECIFICALLY SAY IT'S FOR BETTAS! (Unless it's pellets)

I hope I helped!

When they spit the food out, it means they dont like it! try some bloodworms and different food. It works for me!
