I wish the spell checker would shut up about how I spell favourite!
I just want to see why people like the books they do.
My favourite is Misery by Stephen King. It's well written, has a plot, good characters, believable dialogue and is over all very interesting with the right amount of gruesome. It does start of slow but nearer the end, stuff really started happening and it just got better and better. Saying that it was quite disturbing because I read it when I was 13 (I turned 14 in July so it isn't that bad) and when she cuts his thumb off and threatens to make him eat it after sticking it in a cake if he isn't a good boy is just down right wrong. In a good way! He always has ideas which he makes his own! The man is a genius and brilliant at what he does.
