It shows the difference in the way a case is handled in the USA vs. Italy, They had her convicted from the begining. She was shopping the day after her roomate died. She was on camera buying lingerie with her b/f. This is not accepted there as if would. Can you imagine if Paris Hilton went to Italy. They don't put up with that pretty spoiled bitch act. I think we are looking at the differences in the court system. The juries are not secquestored. They were fallling asleep during the trail. I think it is just unique. The people in that country cheered when this girl was convicted. Look at how the USA is divided up by the top 1% greediest people have the republican party against the democrats whether top1% or not the country is divided so they would never stand up against anyone just because the person is a foreigner & that is what they did, they just convicted her in a way that would never happen in the USA.People in our country make a big deal out of Italy & Italians & I have Italians in my family & it makes me laugh. My grandmother & mother were so mean & hateful. Yet, the Italians are looked at like they are so cool. So maybe this is going to show us not to judge people by out apperences but really dig down to find out what is going on. This people hated this girl cause she is an American.
