A better question is why do people care so much? No one is hurting you by believing something you don't... why are people so set in proving other people wrong? it seems silly to me.
There is hard evidence that people have been cured being given only placebos... these fake drugs did NOT heal the patient... but the belief that the medicine would work cured the ailment. This is called power of suggestion. If people feel good about themselves by believing in a GOD, and live productive lives helping humanity, then good for them!! Wrong or right, they feel spiritually healed... so why not let them enjoy it?

And i mean it on both ends, both Atheists bashing believers and believers bashing Atheists... I play no favorites. Cant we all just get along?
