It seriously doesn't make sense. The guy is Bush glossed over as "cool" and an "intellectual". Also, he's back-slided on several campaign platforms of his, chiefly his stance and action toward Afghanistan. Also, despite the stimulus package, Obama essentially remains a chum, a good old buddy of the bankers of America, and an Indian Giver to the middle class. He keeps nibbling away at issues like health care (tough speeches and pledges for resolve one day, defeatist postponements the next) while continuing the hawkish wartime tradition of George W. Bush. And there are lots of other hypocrisies and misgivings our current president.
Is it actually because Obama is black? I refused to believe that at first but now I actually think it's true.
Either that or politics is just a silly game, or sport, to most people. A messed up, cultish hobby.
