Why is there so little mention of the floods on these boards?

No mention of this enormous ongoing disaster, the inevitable cost in property and lives, the inevitable major impact on food prices, the inconvenient fact that the red cross has no more money to help millions of displaced.

All of this is happening while the bizarre trolls on this site rant about Obama and his fist bump, Paris's new album, silly homework questions that can be answered with two seconds of googling...

Where are Americans at? I am startled, puzzled, ashamed.

This country has no sense of itself, no compassion for its own people. The few posts I've seen involved blaming the people for living near the rivers... when in fact throughout history people have always settled by water.

America is truly a self involved land of idiots.
heather - that's an astonishing answer. Don't you even wonder how those people are going to get by without Red Cross help?
Funny, I don't remember blaming president Bush for any of this. Why so defensive? I'm happy you are resilient, but actually I'm sure there are some black people living in the midwest...

These bizarre republican responses, if anything, point to a strange mindset...

Because this is Yahoo UK & Ireland.

However, I as an English cousin of yours have asked about the floods.
I wanted to know if Pioneer was affected.
