I have an 89 ford thunderbird with the jbl premium sound. The stereo stopped working about a month ago so i thought it had just had enough and kicked the bucket so i bought a new one. I hooked it up and it did not work so i began checking the wires and found out there is no power on the 12v constant. I tryed inspecting the wire and it looks good as far as i can see. Is there a fuse under the hood as well that connects to it. If so where is it. I checked the fuses inside and they are good.
It is just that wire because i connected the ignition(red) and constant(yellow) together with the car ignition(red) and the stereo works when the key is turned to the on position.
