Why is there always a spider living in the wing mirror of my car?

However many times I see it off it's always back in the morning sitting smugly on it's little web.

It is a vain spider and want to preen itself in the mirror. I have two too, one on each side mirror.

]its probably the only thing that sticks out on a car plus its got somewhere to spin its web so it hangs in the air to catch its pray ive got one as well always seems to be on kerbside mirror [must have foreigner licence]

My dad has the same problem with his car. No matter what it's there and is too quick for him to be rid of it It's an ideal place for the spider, dark, easy to access and a permanent home. A car is stationary for many hours so the spider can be undisturbed and they always seem to be nocturnal, well I see many more moving about if I'm up late, and come back to it easily. Spiders are peculiar and ugly things.
