Why is the spawn system in Black Ops screwed up so much?

I was playing Black Ops and I was getting spawn killed the enemy was literally in my spam just watching us spawn I died 100 times with 10 kills why did the make the spawns work that way?
and no they weren't just getting there they were STANDING in the spawn WAITING I as my friend get spawn trapped buy a camper.
 
the Spawn System is actually good in black ops. Team based games you always spawn away from enemies its just some enemies come to your spawn faster than you could run. A.K.A Spawn Trap.
