Why is the power window controlls of the new Suzuki XL7 mounted on the dash

rather than on the doors? Its odd and cant see why a practical car company like Suzuki would do this blunder.Seriously the guys out there at Suzuki need layoffs for life.I kept away from buying the XL7 just because or this issue.How can we let these dumbheads at Suzuki to change it atleast on the newer models.?
 
It was easier in this case to add the buttons to the dash rather then have 2 different interior door trim panels and the additional wire required.

Does not seem like the best place to me either....
 
Contact Suzuki and tell them what you think. However, there are several companies that do similar things and mount the window switches on the centre console as opposed to the doors.
 
Volkswagen does this on some of their models. I personally would not buy a car with controls in odd positions no matter how great the car looks. Some things just are meant to be in certain spots regardless of the type of car.
