Why is the media so obsessed with Michelle Obama's clothing?

Just recently during the G-20 meetings, the focus was more on the clothes Michelle Obama wore rather than the policies the G-20 leaders discussed.
Are you kidding? Why are we mixing Hollywood's glitz and glamor with politics? Who cares what Michelle Obama's wearing? I DON'T! And if you're more interested in politics, you shouldn't either! Grrrrr Maybe Al-Jazeera English is a better source of information than CNN (Celebrity News Network) and Faux.
Beverly, the deal is...we can't ignore 24/7 coverage on Michelle Obama's clothes when all we've got is CNN and Fox. We need actual news.
