Why is the Environment Section only about Global Warming and Climate Change?

There is so much more to the word Environment. No one ask questions about National Parks or Forest or oceans or nature in general, it's all about global warming. I think it should be changed to Global Warming topic, or stay Environment but have other questions put in besides Global Warming, for some reason the same question is being asked over and over about the subject, look it up and ask a different question. Something besides this.

Maybe you've come straight to the Global Warming category and bypassed the Environment category.

Yahoo spilts Environment into 5 sub-sections: Global Warming, Alternative Fuel Vehicles, Conservation, Green Living and Others. I haven't checked but I guess there are more questions asked in the GW section.

The global warming is definitely the most lively of the sections listed under "Environment." And you're right, there's a lot of repetition, too much in fact. But GW is the "go to" section here because it is considered by some to be controversial, and because more and more people are tuning in all the time to find out what this is all about.

GW and Conservation are the categories I focus on most, with a peek at the "Green" category. In conservation, I see a lot of homework questions, and I won't answer those per se but I do try to point them in the right direction by providing solid links.

So it is what it is. It's not everybody's cup of tea, I guess.
