They are both 5 passenger cars
both are gas/electric
Both get about the same MPG for the same trip 300 miles or so.
both seem to have the same techology.
The Toyota performs better, but does not go as far on electric only, but on a trip they are the same.
Chevy seems to be way over priced, hoping the public will accept the Tax beni's as a savings. I see it as a way for Chevy to artificailly rasie the price, hoping the public buys anyway.
Seems like the volt will energize the Prius sales, not what americans needed. the volt should be priced about the same as the prius, then the tax savings giving americans a good valued american car.
Does chevy just not get it or are people just that gullable?
What are your ideas?
