Why is T-Mobile Long Distance too much compared with Boost Mobile?

Without a long distance plan to Mexico's cell-phones:
Boost Mobile .10 cents/min Vs T-Mobile .49 cents/min

With a Long distance plan (to cell-phones):
Boost Mobile .10 cents/min Vs T-Mobile .25 cents/min

With a long distance plan to land-lines.
Boost Mobile FREE Vs T-Mobile .05 cents/min

Not to mention that boost mobile includes unlimited national text,messaging, web, etc.
