Why is she acting this way? need your opininon....?

I am an international student and this girl is too. So this girl is in the same college with me, but not in my class, she is in one of my friend's class. We both speak the same language but we are from different countries. Couple of days ago, she sent me a message on facbook, and asked me how am i doing and where am i from. After that, we started messaging ans she was asking me what classes i have and stuff like that. When i asked her how did she found me, she told told me that she found me by accident in her friend's comment on facebook. She added me to friends, and asked me for my phone number and gave me her number too. Then we had to have a party, and she told me that we can meet there and also told me to call her. On party we didn't talk so much, only little bit. And so yesterday she called me on skype. I don't know why she is doing that, is she interested in me? or is she just doing that because we speak the same language. But why would she do all that just because of the language? So what do you think about this whole situation? Thanks for you time and answer.
