Why is pope Benedict planting time bombs in Africa by telling Africans not to use

condoms? 2 in 5 africans are infected with The HIV virus and we have a pope giving deadly advice to these people to abstain from using condoms. sounds like the pope wants to see all the Africans die with aids

what do you think?
 
Oh well , 2 outta 5 that's a 42% chance of having AIDS if you slept with a stranger but coming to think of it , their traditions are kinda strict about sexual relationships , they gotta be married to sleep together unless you're aiming for a prostitutes .

Still , why would the pope ask Africans not to use condoms ? doesn't he know about the Huge Mass Population ?
 
Yeah, I know.

It's really sad. In some African countries, the women prostitutes (who are really mostly just young girls) have to re-use the same condom multiple times during the night because they cannot afford to use them and then dispose of them every time.

Sometimes they even wash them and hang them up on a clothes-line to dry.
 
If you go on and list the rest of his advice (the part about abstinence and faithfulness to your partner), you will find that it would completely solve the HIV problem.

If, on the other hand, people choose to disobey his other instructions (on abstinence and having single partners) what makes you think that they are actually taking his advice re condoms?

Could it at all be possible, that said Africans are not concerned about what the Pope says and therefore do not take any of his advice? Thus engaging in pre-marital and extra-marital sex with the resulting rise in HIV infection. Just a thought. Perhaps a little bit of personal responsibility is a good thing before blaming some remote religious leader for his opinions.
