Ok so I downloaded this awesome documentary (11 parts each in AVI format 720p and about 2GB in size). I have it on my computer and I use XMBC on my Apple TV to watch it on my big tv in the living room.
But there is a problem. They play perfectly on my computer but when i try to watch them on my Apple TV its really laggy, stopping starting, buffering. Its completely unwatchable like trying to watch youtube on dialup.
All the other videos work find on my Apple TV. Some are AVI, some are MKV. The MKV ones are 720p and they work fine.
Any idea what the problem is? Should I try converting these AVIs to MKV?
